Direct Services include, but are not limited to; crisis intervention, safety planning, peer-counseling, support groups, advocacy with or on behalf of victims with the criminal justice system or service providers, assistance with obtaining restraining orders, referrals to community resources, case management for housing, and facilitating educational groups and/or support groups. Direct services include in person and phone contacts, with or on behalf of survivors.
Maintain Statistics includes, but is not limited to; client name, address, phone number, age; abuser’s name, address, phone number, age, history of abuse; services provided; services unavailable; contacts per month; community awareness and prevention activities; training hours and topics; and outreach activities.
Administrative Duties include, but are not limited to; development and maintenance of adequate assessment tools and forms to perform necessary services, tracking and program evaluation; develop working relationships with partner agencies; develop resources to serve victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and other duties as assigned.
Community Awareness and Prevention Activities include, but are not limited to; participation in the development and implementation of semi-annual community awareness campaigns, prevention activities with youth and adults, and present community awareness presentations and attend community meetings as assigned.
Outreach to Underserved Populations includes, but is not limited to; participation in the development and implementation of an annual plan to identify and serve underserved populations; and participation in outreach activities.
