Jessica joined the Coalition after spending three years as a violence prevention educator and confidential advocate for youth survivors of violence at a community based organization, and is currently earning her Masters in Social Work. As a preventionist, Jessica is passionate about comprehensive sex education, youth leadership, trauma-informed care, and third spaces. In this role, she is excited to connect with other preventionists across the state and compile a collaborative resource library to improve access to violence prevention curriculum and strategies. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys international travel, live music, costume parties, and exploring the natural beauty in and around her home in Portland.
