Trisha brings a wealth of experience in grassroots movement building. She has launched and co-founded several Portland organizations and Portland chapters of internationally-based organizations such as GABRIELA Portland, International Coalition for Human Rights in the Philippines, Humans of Color Movement Alliance, and the Foundation for Philippine Progress. With these experiences, Trisha has learned the importance of using various communication tools to build and sustain movements. Trisha brings years of event-planning experience and believes that event planning is one way to organize communities towards common goals.

Trisha graduated with her BSW. Before her work at OCADSV she worked with dv/sa survivors, international students, teen girls, and middle-school youth. In her spare time she participates in community organizing and activism and teaches yoga with a culturally-sensitive and trauma-sensitive lens.
