  • The Hillsboro Regional Office of OLC serves low-income clients and seniors in Washington, Columbia, Clatsop, Tillamook, and Yamhill Counties. Potential clients and community partners can call us about any civil legal problem (we don’t handle traffic or criminal matters). Most of our cases fall into one of three areas: family law, with a focus on domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and child support; housing, with a focus on discrimination, subsidized housing, and advice to tenants; and public benefits issues. We have contracts to provide services to seniors in a wider range of problems in all our counties. If we are unable to assist you with your legal problem, we can almost always refer you to other resources and point you to self-help materials. We have staff members who are bilingual in English and Spanish, and we use interpreters to help us serve people who speak other languages.

Pursuant to federal and state law, community-based advocacy programs receiving federal or state grant funding shall not discriminate, withhold services, or provide preferential treatment on the basis of actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability.

Certain information shared between certified advocates and victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking is protected under Oregon state law.

STEP 2: Go to the claim ownership page

This page shows three lists:

  1. Pages you already own;
  2. Pages that have not been claimed; and
  3. Pages already claimed by others.

STEP 3: Find your program in the list

If you see a blue "CLAIM" button next to your program, that means you may claim ownership. Click the button and follow the on-screen instructions.

NOTE: Each FIND HELP page can have only one designated owner. If someone has already claimed ownership over your program's page, you won't be allowed to submit a claim request.

If you can't find your program in the list, or your program's page has been claimed by someone you don't recognize, email Jonathan Gates (link sends e-mail), OCADSV Communications and Events Coordinator.

STEP 4: Wait for approval

All page ownership requests must be approved by coalition staff, to ensure that only authorized individuals are given access.

You can expect to receive an update by email within two business days.

STEP 5: Edit your FIND HELP page

If your request is approved, log back in to the OCADSV Members Portal, go to your program's page, and click the "Edit" tab at the top.
