Dear coalition members, partners, and supporters:

We'd like to invite you to participate in the silent auction that will take place at the Oregon Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence's Annual Conference. This year’s conference will be on June 5th – 7th at Sunriver Resort. As many of you know, the Coalition Conference brings on average of 200 attendees from across the state together for three days of quality speakers, workshops and networking opportunities.
Each year the Coalition gathers generous donations from businesses and the OCADSV Board of Directors seek donations from the regions they represent. This year we realized that there are likely many member programs and other supporters who might like to donate something to support OCADSV and the work they do on behalf of member programs and the mission we work together to advance.

Items you might consider donating for the auction could include:

  • artwork, jewelry, or clay crafts;
  • needlework or knitted articles;
  • theme baskets of gift items (e.g. self-care, coffee/tea time, chocolate lovers, art, needlework or items that represent what is special in your community).

Hand-crafted items have been especially popular with our conference attendees in previous years.

Gift certificates from local venues or tickets to special events have also been successful.

If you are attending the conference and have an item for the auction, you are welcome to bring it with you. However, in order for us to prepare, we will need to know in advance:

  • what the item is,
  • the donor’s name, and
  • the item's declared value.

Please let Keri or Kathleen know this information by the end of May.  If you are not attending the conference or are unable to bring the item with you, please call us and we'll make alternate arrangements.
Thank you for your support. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
