Agenda Topics: What does it mean to be trauma informed, defining trauma brain circuits and networks explained, defense circuitry, implications for being trauma informed, reactions to threat/trauma, long term impact of trauma, making meaning, and resilience for all. Registration Fee: Training is FREE to Community Action Agency employees in Oregon. Limit two (2) registrations per agency. A waiting list will be kept should additional space open up. Overnight stay and travel expenses are the responsibility of the participant’s agency. Agencies will be charged $250 for registrants who do not attend and did not cancel prior to the training.
Lodging: For those who require an overnight stay, rooms at the Phoenix Inn Suites are available at a special rate of $94 per night plus tax. To receive this special rate, please make room reservations by May 9th. Call (541) 926-5696 and ask for the “Community Action Partnership” block.
