Under direct supervision of the Youth and Advocacy Services Manager, the Advocacy Center Coordinator provides direct support to survivors of domestic violence as well as oversight, outreach and coordination of services and activities held at Raphael House of Portland’s Advocacy Center. This position works closely with staff members, volunteers, community partners and program participants to facilitate provision of services. This position works directly with survivors providing follow-up advocacy as appropriate to the participant’s needs, coordinates activities and programs while connecting closely with the other programs of the agency. This position will supervise a 1.0 FTE advocate and .75 FTE youth support advocate staff member who will support Advocacy Center programming. Specific work schedule to be agreed upon with the Youth and Advocacy Services Manager.
This position is funded by a VOCA competitive grant for the three year period of October 1, 2016 to September 30, 2019.
