Hood River's shelter for survivors of domestic violence needs an outgoing, compassionate person to oversee their volunteer and shelter/food programs. In addition to managing volunteer projects and monitoring in-kind donations, the shelter support advocate helps clients create healthy life skills habits and other shelter-based activities. Prior experience as a community health worker, with shelter support, or survivors of trauma helpful. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. This position is 30-hours/week with possibility of growing into a full-time position as funding allows.
