Call to Safety is looking for people who are passionate about supporting survivors and have the 40 hour required DV/SA training to be on our Back-Up team. This position is responsible for being the first responder advocate for sexual assault hospital response. They provide advocacy, support, information, and appropriate referrals to survivors who are predominately choosing not to report or are undecided. Back-up advocates are also responsible for covering the crisis line during backup shifts, in the event that scheduled staff are unable to respond, and to provide backup support to crisis line advocates. This position does offer a set stipend and $15.00/hour of if called for a hospital response.
