The Response Lead provides direct student and peer advocate support as part of the Campus Outreach & Advocacy project funded by a Department of Justice/Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) grant. The project aims to develop a coordinated, districtwide response protocol for PCC students who experience gender-based and interpersonal violence.
In partnership with the college Women’s Resource Centers & Queer Resource Centers, the incumbent will provide advocacy, information and referral to survivors of gender-based and interpersonal violence. The Response Lead will work closely with college partners, as well as external service providers and agencies, to coordinate supportive response plans that are trauma-informed and culturally responsive.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring completion of defined activities though the grant cycle ending September 2020.
This is a Grant (Victims of Crime Act) funded position. Continuation of this position is subject to grant renewal.
