This position provides immediate on call assistance and follow up support to victims of all types of crimes. This advocate position ensures that victims understand the criminal justice process and have access to all services available through the CRITFC Victim Assistance Program and various federal, tribal, state and local victim’s assistance programs. This position is the primary on-call advocate for victim needs related to CRITFC enforcement matters. Advocates for culturally based services, including information and referral services. This Advocate position in the justice system of this police department is not entitled to advocate/client confidentiality and privilege.

Note: Hiring preference will be given to qualified members of the four CRITFC member tribes and to qualified enrolled members of other federally recognized Indian tribes and Native Alaskans.
