The Victim Assistance Program Coordinator position will assist with the assessment, planning, oversight, development, implementation and evaluation of various components of the District Attorney's Victim Assistance Program. Responsibilities include assigning and reviewing the work of Victim Advocates; and providing day-to-day training and education to staff and volunteer advocates to advance knowledge of victim advocacy and how it affects prosecution interests. Successful candidates will also work with our IT staff to maintain and improve our current technological strategies in the furtherance of victim assistance; and assist in the collection of program statistics and drafting grant reports for which they are collected. A key role for this position is to work with effectively with community partners by serving on committees and attending meetings to promote the interests of the organization.
