The Family Stability Advocate will establish and maintain relationships with participants of West Women’s and Children’s Shelter who are actively engaged in the child welfare system working towards reunification with their children. This position will maintain all client-related documentation, write case plans, meet regularly with each assigned participant and act as an advocate for the participant with outside agencies involving their reunification and safety plan activities. The duties of this position also include information and referral activities as specified by the individual participant’s reunification needs. The Family Stability Advocate will provide appropriate individual and group activities to mothers and children residing at West Women’s. Support mothers and their children who range in age from birth to 18 years of age who have experienced crisis and domestic violence. Coordinate closely with all Advocate Team members to support the reunification needs of the participant.
