Technical Assistance and Training

The Coalition seeks to empower organizations, communities, and individuals throughout Oregon to end domestic and sexual violence through supporting the development of necessary skills, knowledge, and strategies with our expert-led responsive trainings and technical assistance.

Technical Assistance

(TA) includes customized, ongoing support, addressing specific needs or requests from member programs to better support survivors, staff, volunteers, and board members. This collaboration could encompass resource-sharing, cultivating community connections, identifying and addressing challenges, goal setting, and more.

An accessible, culturally responsive, and trauma informed approach is the foundation to all TA. Please contact us at [email protected] to request Technical Assistance. Technical Assistance can be provided in person or virtually.

Training

Members receive training that focuses on best practices rooted in accessible, culturally responsive, and trauma informed care. These trainings often reflect the needs and themes expressed on a community and statewide level. Trainings are done with staff and in collaboration with local and national experts.

An anti-violence, anti-oppression framework is woven through all our trainings. We acknowledge survivors’ unique experiences and the ways that domestic and sexual violence overlaps with additional forms of oppression. Training can be provided in person or virtually.
